Apple‘s “most powerful Mac ever made” has a release date. The US-based company has announced that the iMac Pro will be available beginning Thursday, Dec. 14, starting at $5,000 USD.
The iMac Pro will be Apple’s very first “360VR-Ready” machine, boasting an 8-core Xeon procession, 32GB of RAM, an 8GB Radeon Pro Vega GPU and 1TB SSD. As Apple did with the iPhone X last month, it’s given some YouTubers early access to the computer.
According to The Verge, “the general consensus is that this thing is fast — but of course, that was always going to be the case with its high-end specs. The real question is whether it’s capable enough to keep pros from not going over to Windows, where they’ve traditionally been able to get power per dollar.”
No need to ask Siri, who’s going to Google it anyway (ha!) here is the link to get yours: https://www.apple.com/imac-pro/
