VR For Good: Superfan with Rare Bone Disease Gets to Meet her Football Heroes thanks to VR

VR For Good: Superfan with Rare Bone Disease Gets to Meet her Football Heroes thanks to VR

Sports Fans are not all cut from the same cloth. Some are imbued with Passion & Loyalty for their Team, which can only be understood and explained by another Sports fanatic. Doreen Musson was born with osteochondral dystrophy, a rare degenerative bone disease that limits the 65-year-old Chilliwack resident’s mobility.

This did not stop her from once greeting her favorite team at the airport, back in ’64, in full black and orange gear, orange streamers and all. A lifelong BC Lions fan, doubted she’d ever be able to go to another football game after her husband passed away.

Canadian Telecom giant TELUS decided to use Technology to make sports inclusive to all, creating this 360º Experience, as part of their All Connected campaign. For every use of #AllConnected, TELUS will give $1 to KidSport to help get every kid off the sidelines. KidSport is a national not-for-profit organization that provides financial assistance for registration fees and equipment to kids aged 18 and under.

Gotta LOVE 360VR being used for Good!
